The staff members at Learn2Blossom are dedicated individuals with experience caring for children both in the United States and abroad. Our staff to child ratio is always in compliance (and is often higher than) Maryland state requirements.
The safety of the children we serve is of the utmost importance to us. That is why Learn2Blossom meets all state staffing requirements and ensures that all staff members undergo background checks and a child abuse/neglect screening. Staff members must also receive a medical check from a licensed physician prior to starting to work at the center.
In addition, all of our staff members are certified in:
- First Aid
- CPR
- SIDS
We also offer our staff regular professional development opportunities to enhance the care we provide. All staff members currently have the following training:
- Child Development Associate® (CDA) Credential
- Medication administration
- 45 hours in infant/toddler development and care
- 90 hours of infant/toddler specific course work
